Uniquely positioned on the North end of the Rosario Strait, Sandy Point Shores has panoramic views of the San Juan Islands, Cascade Mountains and Canada. This is the best place to sit back to relax and recharge while you explore the Pacific Northwest! Beach Cottage is found in a beautiful waterfront community called Sandy Point Shores. Sandy Point is located about 20 minutes north west of Bellingham, WA and about 30 minutes from the Canadian border. Making it an optimal place to stay to explore the PNW!

If you have dreamt of sitting fireside sipping your coffee listening to the waves crash or enjoying a crisp glass of wine watching the sunset from the beach. Then this vacation rental is the place for you! Do not forget to pack along some fire wood. Outside you will find a spacious fire pit with comfy lounge chairs surrounding, and ocean views for as far as your eyes can see. Light a fire and stay warm as the sun sets. In the Summer months the sun comes down after 9pm giving you the entire day to enjoy the beaches or explore neighboring towns or cities. Inside is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, stone fireplace centrally located in the house. Cozy up on the couches to watch a movie or play games with the family or friends. Either way you spend your evening will be delightfully sweet!
Beach Cottage is the perfect house for a couple spending a romantic weekend away or a group of friends getting together! This stunning two-bedroom, 2-bath home can sleep up to six people. The main bedroom is located upstairs with a private entrance with breathtaking views of the ocean. With a full-bath, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker, take the morning slow and relax in the comfy king size bed. The second bedroom is located in the main part of the house downstairs with a queen bed and double closet. The living room has a sleeper sofa and twin pullout-ottoman for additional sleeping amenities.
With a fully furnished kitchen the meal possibilities are endless! Cook a gourmet dinner of local crab, shellfish or seafood, grill steak on the BBQ outside, or craft up a fun and tasty charcuterie board and enjoy with wine or a cocktail on the patio. The kitchen is stocked with all appliances to make your stay as seamless as possible: there’s a refrigerator and freezer, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, dishware & flatware, serving platters and utensils, and a wine fridge.
There’s no better feeling than exploring your “own” backyard. There is a path to the beach on the South side of our house next door, Sea Glass. Search for agates on the shoreline or take one of our kayaks or paddle boards out to sea to explore from the water! There is also so much to do this area!
