In my opinion, there is no better way to kick start the day, than with a bagel! There is really no other bagel, or bagel sandwich for that matter, like the Bagelry’s. Opening their doors in 1984 this is a landmark of Bellingham. Made fresh daily, their bagels are on a first come, first serve basis. They take pride in their time-honored traditional way of making bagels, that is even hard to find in New York these days. The Bagelry has more than bagels to offer as well - they have delicious salad varieties and baked pastries. Try their salt bagels, everything bialy, rosemary salt, sesame, blueberry, among others, and their spreads are divine! They have your traditional cream cheese spread, strawberry, garlic-feta-dill, lox, cinnamon-walnut-raisin, and seasonal options as well.

A restaurant in the heart of downtown Bellingham that focuses on live-fire-cooking. First opening their doors in Brooklyn, NY their ambition and creativity brought the owners and chefs to Bellingham! Their hangar steak and short ribs are always a must order, as well as their marinated avocado, chicken wings, and sourdough. Their menu changes slightly depending on the season, but that just ensures a nice mixture of variety throughout the year and top-notch ingredients!
Next door is Accomplice, their criminally-delicious sandwich shop! Serving up incredible burgers and chicken sandwiches! Open daily for lunch and dinner.

Beautiful, bright and organic - the space of Aslan Brewing and their beer! Aslan is not the first brewery to open in Bellingham, but it is a favorite of many. They actually have two spots in Bellingham, and they’re only a block away from each other and offer a different atmosphere and vibe, both equally inviting!
The brewpub has high ceilings and windows that offers a bright, clean and simple feel to the space to enjoy their beer and their delicious food fare! Our favorites to order here are the waffle fry poutine, bacon smash burger and either the hawaiian bowl or the bahn mi bowl!
Aslan’s Depot has a swanky, warm, and vintage vibe that is stunning and unique in the area! Hosting live music on Tuesdays and Fridays, and a dj on Saturdays, they have nailed the late night aesthetics. While they don’t have their own food menu, you are able to order off the Brewpub’s menu and have it delivered to your table!

A dog and outside-food friendly brewery! Gruff is located on a hill overlooking Trackside and the Bay. With a stage for local performers, trivia nights, and being dog-friendly, Gruff is a Bellingham favorite! Brothers Bus Bistro is a food truck that is regularly camped out at Gruff to order from the beer garden, but on occasion you may find other food trucks there too! One of the rarities about Gruff, is that they also allow you to bring in your own food as well.

La Fiamma Pizza is delicious woodfire pizza parlor with fun retro decor it is sensational to sit inside and watch the pizzas be made or dine on their heated wood patio space and watch the sun go down! La Fiamma is a staple downtown Bellingham spot, being in operation since 1998. We love their rosemary lemonade and their Fiamma Chop salad with the white balsamic vinaigrette. As for pizzas, we love the Fiona with the lamb sausage, the Sweet and Savory, and last but certainly not least, the PPJ: pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeno!
The Fiamma family has a “brother” restaurant not too far away with a similar fun-retro vibe. Fiamma Burger! This 50’s style burger diner is sure to please, order at the counter and pick your seat within the restaurant. Make sure to get one of their milkshakes with your burger too! We love their classic cheese burger, but if you want to mix it up, we would recommend the BBQ Bacon Blue Ring burger or the Lamb burger!

Bellingham Cider Company is a local craft cider producer inspired by the Pacific Northwest! Fantastic views overlooking the Bay and the San Juan Islands makes their ciders and food taste extra good. Try five of their many tasty ciders in their cider flight! Or if cocktails are more your thing, they have a beautiful cocktail menu as well. For food, we are a big fan of their pork belly and cauliflower starters, love their pizzas and burger as well! Classic American food, but done well.
