Slightly north east from Sandy Point is the small, beautiful, Dutch town of Lynden, WA. Surrounded by farming fields and the mountains, Lynden is known for picturesque scenic drives, the windmill in the historic downtown neighborhood, and fresh and local produce and meats!

A short 20 minute drive to the South, down Interstate-5 will bring you to the beautiful and historic town of Bellingham, WA. The biggest city in the upper corner of the Pacific Northwest, Bellingham has many amazing restaurants and good eateries to dine at, and places to explore and shop! Just 5 minutes South of Downtown Bellingham is the historic neighborhood of Fairhaven. Bellingham is the biggest city in the upper corner of the Pacific Northwest. Fairhaven is our favorite part of town, with so many amazing restaurants and good eateries to dine at, and places to explore and shop! It was hard to narrow down to just a few of our favorite places here.

A quick 15-minute drive east through back roads and across highways will take you to Ferndale, WA, an old timber and dairy town. Between the historic parks and the Nooksack river running through the town, Ferndale has much to offer in terms of walking, fishing, and small town charm.

This beautiful mid-century modern home is located on the North end of the Rosario Strait, in a beautiful neighborhood called Sandy Point Shores. Our Sea Glass home offers breathtaking views of the San Juan Islands, Cascade Mountains, and even Canada. Relax and recharge while listening to the ocean break outside or explore the ocean by kayak, the possibilities here are endless. Sea Glass is next door neighbor with our other ocean front home, Beach Cottage, and both are located just 20 minutes north west of Bellingham, WA and about 30 minutes to the Canadian border. The closeness to the ocean, mountain ranges, Canada and beautiful Bellingham and Lynden, makes Sea Glass the ideal family vacation home!
